Emma Jacob has a really great voice but hasn’t found a song to launch her career yet, hopefully this is the one. It’s nothing that we haven’t heard before, but she sounds great singing it, and it sounds like something a girl her age should be singing. The music is forgettable but her voice carries the weight, now she just needs to get played on the radio. B+

I hear ya. But I disagree with the music being forgettable. “Julianna” is a powerful song. In the vein of CLASSIC Trisha Yearwood. In this era of pop stew passing for “country” at least this song stands out for its maturity.
Those of us following this girl appreciate the coverage and mention.
Go Emma!

Well to me the music is forgettable, but the vocals and lyrics are great. I agree with the comparison to Trisha Yearwood, she’s not quite there yet in vocal chops but she has potential. I also plan to review her album when I get my hands on it.

I love this song. I disagree that the music is forgettable… I love the church bell sound near the beginning and the violin. It gives the song a level of seriousness and sadness, because honestly this is a sad and serious song. But different opinions are what makes the world go ’round
I can’t believe she is 18. Her voice is so mature and experienced sounding. I’m exciting to hear more from her.

I would have to disagree with you. I think the whole song leaves you wanting to hear more. Its catches you at the very beginning and keeps you listening close the whole time. Beautiful voice, amazing message to the song, and clever production. I think it is an A++
